It's here! It is finally Kindness Week! We announced Kindness Week on Friday in a CMS Student News segment that Emily Gregorich and several Secret Kindness Agents helped put together.

In addition, students were given a checklist of activities that they can do to be kind to others at school, in the community and at home. The class that completes the most random acts of kindness will receive a prize from me next week! After only one day, several students had reported that they had already completed many of the activities.
Teachers were also given a list of activities that they could do to encourage kindness in their 1st hour classes. Mrs. Kunzie reported that while doing the web of kindness (giving a compliment while tossing a ball of string around) students were trying to figure out ways to make the string last longer. They had to restart the ball of string to get all the way around the room!
